VEHICLE VS. HOUSE

Sidney police arrested 33-year-old Odihon Cerenil for reckless driving Tuesday morning after he struck the front staircase of a residence while in the 2400 block of San Marino Rd.

Angie Borgmann, owner of the residence, said she received a phone call from a neighbor that a vehicle had collided with the front of her home.

"I was at work," Borgmann said. "I got a call telling me that I needed to go home, that a car hit my house."

While the cause of the collision is still under investigation, police at the scene confirmed Cerenil had no indication of alcohol in his system. He sustained no injuries in the collision, and was transported to the Cheyenne County jail.
