Local artists on display at annual art guild spring show

Artwork from area talent are on display and available for purchase at the Cheyenne County Visitor's Center on Glover Rd. during this weekend's annual spring show presented by the Cheyenne County Art Guild.

The Cheyenne County Art Guild is holding its 43rd annual spring art show this weekend, showcasing more than 20 pieces from area artists.

"The pieces submitted are professional to semi professional, and are mostly available for purchase," Art Guild President Cindy Egging said.

The Cheyenne County Art Guild was established in 1976 by Paul Atkins and Jan Pippit. Egging said the group is currently comprised of about 30 members who meet once a month and hold mini workshops where they get the opportunity to learn different mediums of art.
