Council meeting set for Tuesday

The Sidney City Council will convene for a regular meeting beginning at 7:15 p.m. this Tuesday in the city council chambers at the Sidney City Hall located at 1115 13th Ave.

Included on the agenda is a proclamation for Arbor Day, which in Nebraska is observed on the last Friday in April. The city will also announce its annual celebration, set to be held on April 23 starting at 8 a.m. at the Lodgepole Valley Youth Center. Between 80 and 90 trees will be given away during the event.
