1930 to 2016

Charlotte Hadden, 86 of Sidney, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 10, 2016, at Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 15, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sidney with Pastor David Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials have been established to Sloan Estates and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Thursday at the Holechek Funeral Home with the family present.

Charlotte Bernice Langley was born Jan. 29, 1930 in a farmhouse west of Lorenzo to Ernest and Pearl (Rush) Langley. Charlotte lived west of Lorenzo on a farm until 1945 when she moved to Sidney. She made her home with her sister, Mildred and family, after her mother's death in 1946. Charlotte graduated from Lorenzo High School in 1948. Following graduation, she married Donald Hadden on June 20, 1948 at Sidney.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter Pamela (Kent) Halley of Mitchell; three sons: Gerald (Linda) Hadden of Coleman, Texas; Chris Hadden of Sidney and Donald (Regina) Hadden of Las Vegas; a brother-in-law LeRoy Hadden of Bridgeport; her grandchildren and their families: Triniti (Ryan) Burgner and their children Jensen, Kyndal and Kolten of Scottsbluff; Jason (Gretchen) Halley and their children Ella and Caden of Cheyenne, Wyo .; Heidi (Kevin Morgan) Price and Kallee of Fletcher, N.C .; Monica (Thad) Thomason and Nathaniel of Austin, Texas; Matthew (Reagan) Hadden and their children Connor and Luke of Coleman, Texas; Taryn (Todd Grubert) Hadden and Tripp of Port Mansfield, Texas; Christopher (Leah) Hadden and their children Gabrielle and Max of Omaha; Kayla (Paul Wahlmeier) Hadden and Grace of Omaha; and Myles and Ashlyn Hadden of Las Vegas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, infant daughter Cynthia, four brothers: Clyde, Raymond, Harold and Dale Langley and three sisters: Thelma Langley, Lucile Marsh and Mildred Phelps Gammons.

Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Sidney is serving the Hadden family.
