Senior Michael Banaszak hands off to junior, Alex Linneman during the boys 4x100m relay in District competition Thursday. The team broke a school record yesterday that was in 1994. The record was 43.4 set by Tony Francone, Brent Schiessler, Jason Bartling and Jason Mitchell in 1994. This year's team ran a 43.30. The team includes - Derek Robb, Coby Haas, Michael Banaszak and Alex Linneman.

OGALLALA – Two Sidney High School track records tumbled here Thursday as the Raiders vied for spots at next week's state rack meet in Omaha.
"We finished with a bang," said Raider coach John Ganser of Sidney's day, which saw Raider relay teams on both the boys and girls sides win 4x100 and 4x400 titles.
In claiming their win, the Sidney 4x100 team of Derek Robb, Coby Haas, Michael Banaszak nd Alex Linneman raced to a time of 43.30 seconds, eclipsing by one-tenth of a second a school mark set in 1994.
