Sidney Middle School pole vaulter Madison Johnstone cleared a personal best mark at the Gothenburg Invite Saturday while establishing the second highest mark in the meet's history.
GOTHENBURG – Eight Sidney Middle School track athletes competed Saturday in the Gothenburg Invitational Track meet, sometimes referred to as "state" for that age bracket.
Athletes from across the state are invited to attend based on times and distances throughout the season.
Sidney competitors saw overall success on the day, and left their names in history in a few different events.
