Bipoolers from Linger Longer in Lodgepole came up just short of advancing to the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 8-Ball World Pool Championships in Las Vegas after falling in the finals of the APA's Regional Tournament held recently at Eagles Club in North Platte.
The team received a cash prize for their second place finish.
The Regional event in North Platte hosted 29 teams from all over western Nebraska and qualified the top two teams for the National event in Las Vegas. Six other teams earned cash prizes.
