Sidney daycare and preschool students join officials with Sidney Police Department and Sidney Regional Medical Center, and teachers from Kids Korner Daycare & Learning Korner Preschool to display representative checks to be used for the Safe Kids car seat program. Between students' contributions and a SRMC match, more than $1,600 goes to the program.
Sidney Regional Medical Center (SRMC) recently matched funds raised by children who attend Kids Korner Daycare & Learning Korner Preschool to donate to the Cheyenne County Safe Kids car seat program.
Children gathered their pennies, dimes and nickels, along with other donations over the course of two weeks to raise money. SRMC was not going to let the children go it alone, and offered to match any funds raised.
