Council to consider expansion of city manager's authority

Sidney’s City Council will convene for a regular meeting beginning at 7:15 p.m. this Tuesday inside the council chambers at Sidney City Hall located at 1115 13th Ave.

Councilors will consider approving a policy that will allow the city manager to approve the use of city property and right-of-ways for public events, where previous closures were approved by council during their twice-monthly meetings.
