An added bonus upon their arrival at the finish line, youth were treated to a slip-and-slide to cool down after the Dash for the Splash race. This year's race will be held Aug. 6 at the Sidney Aquatic Center.
This is the 3rd year for Sidney Regional Medical Center's Dash for the Splash Triathlon. This fundraiser event benefits Sidney Swimming Pool and Deadwood Trail expansion projects.
Randi Norton, marketing and public relations for SRMC said, "Dash for the Splash began in 2014 as a different way to encourage members of the community and surrounding areas to get out there and get active." She said, "the triathlon also serves as one of several initiatives for the Community Health Needs Assessment.
