Sidney man charged with class II felony

A Sidney man's case was moved up to Cheyenne County District Court following an alleged assault that took place in the alley behind a local bar.

According to the affidavit, at approximately 2:14 a.m. on July 13, a medical team was dispatched to Stewie's Bar in Sidney, where a male victim had claimed to be physically assaulted. A suspect was not on the scene.

The affidavit states that Brian Everingim was found inside Stewie's bar visibly upset and bleeding from the head, nose and mouth.
