An eye for design

Whitney Goeman, Design Editor, is the newest face at the Sidney Sun-Telegraph. Her latest awards speak to the excellence Goeman strives for in her new career.

Graphic design was not Goeman's first choice fresh out of high school. The Leyton Graduate first toyed with the idea of a career in culinary arts before making the commitment to graphic design.

Goeman grew up in the small town of Broadwater, population 126. Goeman said she began attending Leyton in 6th grade, graduating in 2014.

"I never really knew what I wanted to do in high school," said Goeman.
