King's Daughters kick off donation drive

King's Daughters is beginning its annual donation drive to provide for area residents in need. The group gives assistance with living expenses, food, and other needs.

The Wide Awake Circe of the King's Daughters in Sidney, founded in 1891, is preparing for it's annual donation drive.

The charity provides various types of assistance to those in need in the Sidney area.

The assistance varies on the needs of individuals and circumstances. The King's Daughters have contributed to rent, utilities and medical bills to assist a family through tough periods.

The King's Daughters also assemble layette baskets containing sleepers, onsies, diapers, a blanket and other necessities for new mothers who might not have everything they need for a new baby. These blanke...
