PEETZ, Colo. – Peetz' Lady Bulldogs outlasted Pawnee to win their second match of the season here Saturday, winning their homecoming match 26-24, 25-21, 25-16.
Peetz opened up a 19-13 lead in the opening set before a rally saw Pawnee bound back to even the score 20-20. From there, the teams bounded back and forth to a 23-23 deadlock before the Lady Bulldogs eked out the first set win.
Pawnee took an early 7-4 lead in the second set, but Peetz ran off five unanswered points to take the lead 9-7. Peetz led by as many as seven points, 20-13, when Pawnee rallied to close the lead to three, 23...
