Ventriloquist visits Sidney for Oktoberfest

This Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m., ventriloquist Greg Claassen will be performing in the Octoberfest tent.

Greg Claassen and his “friends” have been performing a Ventriloquist comedy show for the past 30 years throughout North America and Canada.

Claassen began his career as a young child determined to learn how to “throw his voice” which means to make something that is not real, such as a toy, seem to be speaking.

Six years into Claassen’s career he was selected as a national winner in the “Bob Hope Search for the Top” comedy competition.

He has performed at Disney World, Orlando, Fla., and Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo. Claassen has done more than 3,000 shows in his entertainment career,

Claassen’s show is designed for all age groups.
