Wednesday afternoon Quad/Graphics held its official ribbon cutting at the company's new Sidney home on Illinois street. Quad/Graphics is a World Wide provider of print and media solutions.

Cabela's Chief Executive Officer Tommy Milner spoke during the ribbon cutting regarding the positive relationship between Quad/Graphics and Cabela's. Milner said Cabela's has been working with Quad/Graphics for many years now and has nothing but positive things to say regarding their business working together. Milner said he believes Quad/Graphics is an excellent addition to Sidney.

In 1971 Harry Quadracci in Pewaukee, Wisconsin founded Quad/Graphics in an abandoned millwork factory. According to Quadracci's son Joel Quadracci, his father "envisioned a company with management and employees working together as partners, committed to each other and to a common purpose, extraordinary performance for the client."

In 2006, on Quad/Graphic's 35th anniversary, Joel Quadracci became CEO and President of Quad/Graphics. Joel said he was raised within the company, and grounded in the same vision and values set by his father.

In August Quad/Graphics moved into half of the Cabela's building on Illinois street. According to Milner, Quad/Graphics currently employs 94 people in Sidney and surrounding areas.

As previously reported by the Sun-Telegraph, Nathan Borowski, communication specialist at Cabela's, said approximately 120 employees were impacted by the transition between Cabela's and Quad/Graphics.

"Of the 120 Outfitters impacted, five have accepted another position at Cabela's, three have announced their intentions to retire," Borowski said in July. "Additionally, based on the best information available today, approximately 90 of the impacted Outfitters have been offered a position at Quad/Graphics."

It is unknown how many people from Cabela's accepted employment with Quad/Graphics.
