Violet Jeanette Kurz - Obituary

Violet Jeanette Kurz was born in Sidney, raised in the Lorenzo area and graduated from Sidney High School.

She married Howard Kurz in 1946. They had four children; Calvin, Kenneth, Phillip and Yalaunda. She always enjoyed her family.

Vi, as all her many friends and relatives called her, was an active partner in the family farming business. Kurz Combining was started in 1949. They harvested grain from Texas to South Dakota and farmed in Cheyenne County.

Vi would run a tractor, combine, grain truck or whatever else needed doing. An elevator once remarked, that he would rather see Vi than many...
