Visitors Center brings holiday fun

Residents enjoy a carriage ride through town last year, the Cheyenne County Visitors Center will offer rides again this year on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at 10th and Hickory St. in Sidney.

Cheyenne County Visitors Center (CCVC) will be joining in the fun of celebrating the season by hosting carriage rides and pictures with Santa in the upcoming days.

On Sunday, Dec. 18, the CCVC will be offering free carriage rides through the City of Sidney.

Carriage riders will be picked up at 10th and Hickory St. Tourism Director Heather Hausman said the ride will last about ten minuets and riders will have the option to stop by and visit the Post Commanders home.

"We will stop at the Post Commanders home to have a chance to explore that part of Sidney's history. It is a beautiful museum...
