Arlene Maxine Johnson Triplett - Obituary

Arlene Maxine Johnson Triplett, 90, of Longmont, passed away March 18, 2017, at Life Care Center of Longmont. She was born March 10, 1927, in Chappell, Nebraska, to John E. and Frances (Brahatcek) Johnson.

Arlene graduated from Chappell High School; she married Wilson Eugene Triplett on November 12, 1946, in Chappell, Nebraska. They moved to Longmont in 1962 from Sidney, Nebraska.

Arlene was a homemaker; she was also of the Christian faith and a member of the VFW Post 2601 Ladies Auxiliary. Arlene enjoyed gardening and flowers, taking care of her family and time with grandchildren. She also liked watching her soaps and all sports on TV.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilson, four brothers; Everett, Elmer, J. Leonard and Donald Johnson, two sisters; Leola Carlson and Opal Johnson.

Arlene is survived by three daughters; Charlene Stetson husband Larry, Katherine Nuss husband Gary and Marilyn Lawyer, grandchildren; Ronald Stetson, Christine Stetson, Allen Nuss wife Becky, Janet Nuss, William Lawyer wife Tara, Harry Lawyer, John Lawyer; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, April 7, 2017, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be at Foothills Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
