Library digitization funding restored


Sidney Public Library’s digitization funding has been restored.

A $22,000 grant from the Nebraska Library Commission was approved, but feared lost when it was proposed that federal funding to the Institute of Museum and Library Services be cut completely.

“With the spending bill that went through to keep government operational, our 2017 funding was put back in the budget.
