Raider football defeats Hastings

Sidney sophomore Eli Ahrens, No. 10, and No. 15 Grant Hausmann bumb shoulders in celebration during a recent game. The Red Raiders defeated Hastings in Hastings Friday 14-13. The Raiders host Holdrege this Friday.

That high-pitched sound in the air Friday night was the squeak of the Red Raiders leaving Hastings with a one-point win.

The Sidney Red Raiders won their contest with the Hastings Tigers in Hastings Friday, 14-13.

The Red Raiders earned the only points in the first half with a touchdown and extra point in the first quarter. The first half ended with Sidney in the lead 7-0.
