MAC Conference recognizes area athletes

In the MAC Conference, Potter-Dix has three all-conference volleyball players, Creek Valley has two an Leyton has three.

Potter-Dix seniors Trinity Langley, Audrey Juelfs and Payge Hoffman are recognized this season.

Leyton sophomore Madelyn Watchorn, junior Danielle Higgins and senior Taylor Borges (honorable mention) also made the list.

Creek Valley seniors Payge Misegadis, Samantha Schmid, and Madison McFee (Honorable Mention) were also recognized for their season achievements.

Langley has played in 87 sets this season, recordibg 305 kills from 842 attempts, She served 236 times with 29 aces, had 177 total blocks and 371 digs.

Audrey Juelfs played in 91 sets, has 264 kills from 831 attempts, served 15 aces from 231 serve attempts, has a total of 21 blocks and 410 digs.

Payge Hoffman played in 91 sets, has 113 kills from 462 attempts, 46 aces from 416 serve attempts, 23 total blocks and 402 digs.

Leyton’s Madelyn Watchorn played in 80 sets, completed 219 kills from 543 attempts, served 24 aces from 280 serve attempts, had a total of 68 blocks and 285 digs. Danielle Higgins played in 80 sets, recording 37 kills from 132 attacks, 34 aces from 317 serve-attempts, 23 total blocks and 241 digs. Taylor Borges played in 73 sets, revcorded 182 kills from 516 attacks, 39 serve aces from 245 serve attempts, 12 total blocks, and 289 digs.


Creek Valley’s Payje Misegadis played in 74 sets, has 201 kills from 508 attacks, served 25 aces from 267 serve-attempts, 57 total blocks and 508 digs. Samantha Schmid played in 74 sets, earning 25 kills from 120 attacks, 51 serve aces from 309 serve-attempts, seven blocks and 341 digs. Madison McFee played in 71 sets, earned 79 kills from 339 attacks, 25 ace serves from 244 serve-arttempts, one block and 281 digs.
