Leyton District Holds Off On Staffing Decision

Leyton’s school board held an executive session during its monthly meeting last week, seeking legal advice on a decision whether or not to cut staff positions.

Superintendant Lorrie Miller said following the executive session, the board continued through its agenda without taking action on the proposal.

The agenda item is a continuation from December, when the board heard a report that the district is overstaffed and in some educational areas offers more classes than necessary.
