Piano Recital

Three Sidney students will be among performers at a spring recital featuring selected students of Patricia Randolph this Sunday May 6 at 3:30 p.m. at the Kimball Baptist Fellowship Church located at Sixth and Oak Street.

Bailey Bagnell, Jordyn Cook and Kollyn Weimer from Sidney will join students from the southern Panhandle in play. Students preforming include, Ethan Bemis, Chloe Berger, Luke Berger, Rachel Berger, Deanna Horst, Abigail Mars, Lydia Mars, Carly Norberg, Crystal Pile, Michael Steel, Merina Theobald, Dru Weimer, Jason Weller, and Jessi Weller.

Receiving Superior Ratings at the District Music Contest on solos were, Bemis, and Pile from Kimball. Bagnell, Cook and Weimer from Sidney, and Steel from Dix. Bagnell and Weimer also received a Superior Rating on their piano duet.

Bagnell also received the Outstanding Performance award in Piano, with Weimer taking home the honorable mention in Piano. Bemis received the Outstanding Performance award in Trumpet and Pile received honorable mention in Voice.

Receiving 1 plus ratings at the Wyoming Music Festival included Abby Gray, Theobald, and Jessi Weller. Nathaniel

Mars received the Nebraska Young Artist of the Year Award only one of five statewide in Piano, from the University of Nebraska Lincoln Music Faculty.
