Potter-Dix Student Among Congressional Art Competition Winners

Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) visited Potter-Dix High School on Friday to present the 2018 Congressional Art Competition Fourth Place Award to Audrey Juelfs of Potter. Her photo, "Not for Hire," will be displayed in Smith's Scottsbluff office for the next year.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Adrian Smith recently announced the winners of the 2018 Congressional Art Competition for the Third District of Nebraska.

Among those winners was Potter-Dix senior Audrey Juelfs. She entered a photo of an old Chevrolet farm truck, garnering fourth place in the contest. Her work will be displayed in Smith's Scottsbluff office.

Artwork by the first place winner will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol. The runners-up will have their art displayed in Rep. Smith's Washington, D.C., Grand Island, and Scottsbluff offices.
