The home of the Dusty and Teri Payton family of Lodgepole is a total loss after a July 15 early morning fire totaled the home and RV.
Saturday night into Sunday morning should have been a quiet period in Lodgepole. It was interrupted by a fire at the home of Teri and Dusty Payton, a fire that consumed an RV, their home and nearly all of their belongings.
Teri and Dusty Payton and their children were awakened at about 3 a.m. Sunday morning to a fire. Lodgepole Volunteer Firefighters were dispatched at about 3:17 a.m., according to Wade Dickinson of the Lodgepole Fire Department.
"Everybody got out," he said.
He added the property was a total loss.
