Sidney Child Found Safe With Amber Alert

Sheriff’s deputies in Logan County, Colo. found the subjects of an Amber Alert Wednesday evening, safely recovering a six-week old infant taken from Sidney.

Sidney Police Department issued the alert Wednesday afternoon when officers and members of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services were conducting an ongoing child neglect investigation.

In the process of checking on the welfare of the child, who is a ward of the state, officers discovered her parents had left Sidney in the early hours of that day.
