Sidney 13U Ready for Regionals

Sidney's 13U baseball team travels this weekend to compete in the Cal Ripken Midwest Plains Regional baseball tournament in Chadron.

Coming off an impressive showing at the Nebraska State Cal Ripken Tournament in Rushville last week where the team went undefeated in three games, easily dispatching the teams from Gordon and Chadron,

Sidney's 13U looks to continue their winning ways at the next level of competition.

Sidney will compete as one of twelve teams in the tournament. The tournament structure has three pools with four teams in each pool, and the best two teams from the pools will advance to the single elimination championship bracket on Sunday. The stakes are high in this tournament, as the winner earns a spot in the 13U World Series tournament later in the summer.
