Randal 'Randy' Warren - Obituary

Randal "Randy" Warren, age 63 of Sidney, NE passed away July 29, 2018 at his home in Sidney.

Cremation has taken place and no visitation will be held.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 18th at 10:30 A.M. at the Lodgepole Valley Youth Camp with Pastor Pete Morgan officiating. You may view Randy's Book of Memories, leave condolences, photos and stories at http://www.gehrigstittchapel.com.

Randal "Randy" Dean Warren was born on November 3, 1954 in Sidney, Nebraska to Robert Warren and Carlena "Corky" Jennings. He attended Sidney Public Schools graduating in 1973 and was part of the wrestling team that took second place at state. Randy was an avid Husker fan and loved spending time with family for holidays and special occasions, listening to John Denver music and also had a special place in his heart for animals. Randy worked in the oil field industry, for the Office of Human Development and Pennington Seed. He volunteered his time to the hurricane victims in Florida. Randy was very compassionate in what he did and had a big heart, always thinking of others first before himself.

On June 29, 1996 Randy was united in marriage to Jacqueline Virgil in Sidney, NE.

Randy is survived by his wife Jacqueline of Sidney, step children; Felicia Wooley, Sophia Wooley and David Swoap all of Sidney; siblings: Karen Mitchek of AZ, Sharon Smelley of Sidney, Frederick Krueger of Florida and Rodney (Tammy) Warren of Kimball; 10 grandchildren; mother-in-law Dolores Virgil and numerous nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, step-son Victor "Shorty" Wooley and father-in-law Daniel Virgil.
