Coyotes Fall in Season Opener

Potter-Dix's Coyote Football team opened their season at home on Friday, but the Hay Springs Hawks came to town and quickly dashed any hopes the Coyotes had for starting their season with a win.

The Hawks struck quickly, scoring a touchdown on the second play from scrimmage.

The Coyotes were able to get pressure on the extra point attempt, and blocked the kick to keep the score at 6-to-0 in favor of the visitors. That was one of the very few highlights as the Coyotes could not stop the speed and size of the Hawks offense, and could not contain the pressure the Hay Springs defense applied...
