Sidney’s Lady Raider volleyball team hosted the Chase County Lady Longhorns Tuesday at Sidney High School, and won in straight sets 3-to-0. The match featured an exciting comeback by the Lady Raiders in the third set to take the match in a thrilling finish.
The first set started with the teams exchanging scores until the match was tied at 5-to-5, when the Sidney squad put together a string of unanswered points, pulling away from the Lady Longhorns to win the set 25-to-17.
