Sidney Police reported Thursday morning that they had received reports of a scam being very active. A call is received saying your social security number has been suspended and wanting you to call back.
Police advise do not return these calls and do not give out your personal information or social security number. The social security administration does not conduct their business in this manner. Currently the call is coming from Orange Texas, with a number of 409-768-0256.
