Santa Makes First Stop in Sidney Saturday

Santa Claus will make his initial visit to Sidney Saturday, Nov. 10, to kick off the Santa’s Wonderland at Cabela’s.

The grand entry is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday, with Sidney Police escorting Santa’s arrival on a firetruck. Among the many store activities, the Sidney High School choir will be singing for shoppers. The choir will also be offering gift-wrapping through the holiday season. Donations will be accepted toward the choir’s trip to Carnegie Hall next spring.
