Sidney's Lady Raider basketball team earned back-to-back victories on Friday and Saturday to improve their record to 4-and-1 in the early stages of the season. Sidney first traveled to Imperial on Friday to take on the Chase County Lady Longhorns in a non-league matchup.
The scoring started slowly, with both team's defenses applying pressure which resulted in a low scoring first quarter that ended with Sidney in the lead, 7-to-3. Both teams opened up their offenses in the second quarter, trading scores with Sidney leading by halftime, 19-to-16.
