Wheat Belt Contest Features Student Work

Area elementary students recently were invited to participate in a Christmas cover page art contest. All winning entries were published in the Wheat Belt Connection insert of the Rural Electric Nebraskan magazine which is delivered to approximately 2,000 Wheat Belt customers throughout seven counties.

Leyton fifth-grader Halle Carter received Grand Champion honors. Halle’s art was displayed as our December’s cover page. Other winning entries are Reserve Champion Riley Benish, First Place McKenna Hillis and Honorable Mention Auvi Cranmore.
