Potter-Dix senior Sierra Wheelock battles against Hay Springs senior Jessica Badje during the Lady Coyote's 46-25 loss on Saturday.
The Potter-Dix Coyote basketball teams went winless Friday and Saturday, with both squads falling short against Leyton and Hay Springs.
For the boys, the Coyotes could not recover from a 19-to-5 first quarter lead by the Warriors, trailing at halftime 31-to-12. The Coyotes could only manage three points in the second half to fall 58-to-15. Freshman Anthony Tovar led the Coyotes scoring with seven points, while sophomore Dominic Russ led the scoring for Leyton with 18 points.
