A fighter until the very end, cancer proved a match too big for her wit and strength. Kellie was born on January 22, 1965 to Roger and Norma (Ruppert) Sorge in Sidney NE. She graduated from Leyton High School in 1983 and went on to graduate from Western Nebraska Community College. On August 9, 1999, she married her longtime love Dan Lippstrew.

Kellie worked at Cabela's for 25 years and was so proud of the work she did and the people she worked with. Often a private person, Kellie's eyes lit up at the mention of one of her great nieces or nephews. She loved them each so much and she was the most fun auntie. When a new baby was added to our family, she made sure they knew their "K's" before any other letter, so they could say her name first - Auntie K. She was a craft expert, often teaching herself new techniques when the old ones grew boring. She crocheted and sewed countless items that she sold or gave away. Kellie loved cooking - especially for the harvest crew. She often tried new recipes - most were great! However, we'll miss her burgundy mushrooms more than the cucumber mousse she once made. Kellie and Dan loved traveling to Sturgis for many years where they made new friends and had great times with long-lasting ones.

Kellie is survived by her husband and best friend, Dan Lippstrew, of Sidney; step-sons, Adam & Eric, dad & step-mom, Roger Sorge & Phyllis Easley, of Loveland, CO; sister, Brenda George & husband, Bill, of Sidney; brother-in-law Leroy Lippstrew and wife Ellen of Sterling, CO, sister-in-law Deb Lippstrew of Gurley; nieces & their husbands, Alison & Joey Mumaugh of Lincoln, Mindy & Lee Wiegand of Sidney, and Shawna & Josh Rowley of North Platte; and nephew Brandon George and special friend Sara Kromarek of Lodgepole. She is already missed by her "bubbas" - Kolton, Barrett, & Hoyt Wiegand of Sidney, and Brecken & Jude Mumaugh of Lincoln; and her "bubbettes" - Alayna Wiegand of Sidney, Danika & Morgan Rowley of North Platte, and Henley Mumaugh of Lincoln. She loved her extended family dearly and considered her close friends as her family - we are sure her passing has left a hole in the hearts of many.

She was preceded in heaven by her mom, Norma Sorge, and we know they're already laughing loudly enough for us to hear them down here. Our hearts are shattered but we are filled with hope in knowing we'll laugh with them again someday. We end this the way she would have - love you more, Auntie K.
