The Nebraska Department of Labor is scheduled to be in Sidney March 21 and 22 in response to the announced closing of the Cabela’s Sidney Distribution Center.
The meetings will be held at the Sidney campus of Western Nebraska Community College, Room 115/116. The Thursday, March 21 meetings are scheduled for 1 p.m. To 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. To 7 p.m. The Friday, March 22, meetings are scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. To 3 p.m.
During the meetings, attendees will learn about services, programs and benefits workers may be eligible for as a result of receiving a notice of layoff. Workforce representatives will also be available to provide resources to help for the next phase or career.
