Sidney senior Meaghan Ross committed to Chadron State College on Wednesday to play basketball for the Eagles starting in the fall. Ross signed her commitment letter accompanied by family, friends and coaches. The senior standout, known for her outside and three point shooting, holds the Sidney record for most three-point baskets in a game with seven.

Ross has a connection with the Eagles and it was her first choice to continue her education, as her parents Mellisa and Brendan both attended Chadron State. The Eagles compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
