Legion Field Light Tower Replaced

Last year, violent winds knocked down the light tower in the right field corner of Legion Field. American Legion Post 17 provided the funds to replace the light tower. City workers staged the replacement light pole early Thursday, and planned to put it into place later in the day. The lights were purchased at a cost of $12,200 and the pole was purchased for $1,700.
