Leyton Warriors Compete at Pine Bluffs Invite

Leyton sophomore Dominick Russ took second place in the Long Jump at the Pine Bluffs Invitational on Thursday.
Leyton's Warrior Track and Field team traveled to Wyoming on Thursday to compete in the Pine Bluffs Invitational, and had to settle for an eleventh place finish out of 12 teams.
Leyton sophomore Dominick Russ had the most success individually for the Warriors, placing second in the Long Jump with a distance of 19' 06". He also just missed scoring team points with a seventh place in the 100 meters. The 4x400 meter Relay Team of Russ, Ethan Young, Logan Borges, and Dawson Wiggins also scored points for Leyton with a sixth place finish.
Leyton was next scheduled to compete at the Best in the West Classic in Scottsbluff on Tuesday.
