Plains West CASA Seeking 'Villains,' 'Superheros'

Plains West CASA is hosting its first “Superhero Run and Villain Chase (fun run).

The event will be held Saturday, starting from the Shelter House at Legion Park.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 9 a.m. Cost of the 5k race is $40 and $25 for the kids Fun Run. Preregistration can be completed at at plainswestcasa.org or getmeregistered.com at Sidney CASA Superhero.

Participants are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.

Proceeds from the event help in training and support of Plains West CASA advocates.
