Prior to Sidney High School students arriving at the gym for Challenge Day Wednesday, the adult sponsors were encouraged to have fun, ignore their professional titles for the day.
What if people started looking beyond the obvious, spent less time judging on the mask a person wears and more time relating to the person behind the mask? What if safety in a school started with students and faculty recognizing they are more alike than different?
These are questions addressed Wednesday at Sidney High School. Sidney High School held its second "Challenge Day" Wednesday.
Challenge Day is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with programs that help people connect. It is also the name of the organization's signature program, according to the Challenge Day website.
