CSC Announces Honors Lists

CHADRON-- More than 500 students were honored by Chadron State College for excellence this past semester.

Chadron State College announced that 270 students met requirements for the Spring 2019 President’s List by earning a 4.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of coursework during the semester to qualify.

Area students named to the President’s List include: Jessica Kler of Chappell, Jourdan Langley of Dalton, Madison Langley of Dalton, Justin Mohr of Dix, Hollie Clark of Potter, Emma Alexander of Sidney, and Joseph Talley of Sidney.

According to the school, 278 students met requirements for the Spring 2019 Dean’s List by earning at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of coursework during the semester to qualify.

Area students named to the Dean’s List include: Ashley Burr of Chappell, Jaden Mohr of Dix, Abbegail Draper of Gurley, Mikaela Franzen of Gurley, Kaden Vowers of Lodgepole, Lindsey Deaver of Sidney, and Logan Douglas of Sidney.

Chadron State College, which was founded in 1911, is the only four-year, regionally-accredited college in the western half of Nebraska. Nearly 3,000 undergraduate, graduate and online students currently attend Chadron State and its curriculum has grown to offer programs and courses in more than 50 majors and endorsements and eight master’s degree programs.
