J.R. Jenks, age 91, of Sidney, NE, peacefully passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Sidney Regional Medical Center.

Jesse Raymond Jenks, Jr., was born to Jesse and Ruby Kathleen (Wooden) Jenks on July 21, 1928 in Dawn, MO. He attended school through grade 8. Following his education, he moved to Sidney. He married Patricia Moore on February 18, 1950 and to their union was born five children, Susan, Ruby Ann, William, Raymond and Patrick. He operated S.A.
