Work to Begin on I-80, Sidney to Sunol

Weather permitting, work will begin August 12 on I-80 from Sidney to Sunol westbound, Reference Post 60.70 to Reference Post 68.67, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

Scodeller Construction, of Wixom, Mich., has the $760,771 contract, which includes concrete pavement repair and concrete sealing, on the westbound lanes with intermittent closures being implemented in one lane at a time to complete work. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place through the duration of the project. Anticipated completion is end of September 2019.
