This week ends with the beginning of the Fall sports season for the Sidney Red Raiders, with the Cross-Country Team, Volleyball Team, and the Football Team all holding scrimmages on Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday, the State Champion Red Raider Cross Country Team will hold its scrimmage at Deer Run Park at 6pm, while on Friday new Sidney High School Head Coach Markus Ehrke and the Lady Raiders Volleyball Team will have its scrimmage on the Cabela’s Athletic Facility at 5:30 p.m.
At 7 p.m., the Red Raiders Football Team will have its scrimmage at Weymouth Field. The Red Raiders teams will be selling Activity Passes during the Volleyball and Football games, with Adult prices at $30 each and Student prices at $20 each. A family of four or more Pass is $100.
The Cross Country Team will be serving a meal of hotdogs, hamburgers, beans, chips and a drink for $5. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support the Sidney teams as they begin the 2019-20 season.
