Deanna Horst sports a sleeveless dress she made for the competition. Kaylee Eddy sports her striped dress accented by multiple strands of necklaces while wearing fashionable sandals. Eddy and Horst represented Cheyenne County at the Nebraska State Fair with Eddy bringing home a purple ribbon and Horst a blue ribbon.
Two Cheyenne County 4-H members went to the Nebraska State Fair and came home with the gold, well actually a purple ribbon and a blue ribbon.
4-H members modeled for a panel of judges and for a crowd estimated at 1,000 during the Nebraska State Fair. Deanna Horst and Kaylee were among 147 4-H members who participated in the Nebraska State Fair 4-H Fashion Show at Grand Island on Sunday, August 25. The skills judged were on fashion and appearance, and how to look good on a tight budget.
