D2-12 Subdistrict Volleyball Off to Exciting Start

It was cold outside but hot in the Cabela's Athletic Center as the D2-12 Subdistrict Volleyball Tournament started on Monday night. The first game was the "play-in" game to determine who would face number one seed Garden County in the semi-finals later in the night, and rivals Potter-Dix and Creek Valley battled to advance.

The Lady Coyotes started hot and were able to easily take the first set 25-to-9, as the Lady Storm struggled with hitting errors and defensive miscues. But the tables turned in the second set, with Creek Valley pulling out to an 8-to-4 lead on the strength of good serves...
