Community Celebrates Veterans

The Sidney Community will be celebrating Veterans Day Monday with programs and dinner.

A Veterans Day program is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Sidney Middle School. The program will be held in the gymnasium.

Guest speaker will be Ret. Col. Lori Fritz. She is a 1981 graduate of Sidney High School, highly-decorated veteran with 21 years of active duty. The program is designed to honor veterans, for local veterans and to share with students the importance of patriotism and military service.
